Maine Cowboy Shootout Championship

Maine Cowboy Shoot Out Association State Championships, sponsored by the Waldo County Rangers. Watch as the “old West” rolls into Fort Knox and participants using a .45 caliber handgun and wax bullets compete to see who the fastest draw in Maine is.

Lupine Festival

Blessing of the Boats

The Blessing of the Boats or Fleet as it is often called is a blessing given at the beginning of the sailing year to keep all vessels and their crew safe and brought back home at the end of the season.

Blue Hill Fair

Fright at the Fort

Description:

Probably Maine’s largest Halloween event . Visitors are led through the dark passageways of Fort Knox where indescribable things lurk in the shadows, creating screams of fright. Admission is $5 per person.
